Independent Polish studio The Astronauts reported that The Vanishing of Ethan Carter sold over 60 thousand copies per month since its release, held on 25 September.

Half of the sales of the game is in Western Europe, followed by the North American region. And the first four countries is as follows: United States, Germany, Russia and the United Kingdom.
