First look at Homeworld Remastered

Homeworld Remastered for some time in development, but until the Australian event PAX Australia in the community had the chance to look at the reissue of the classic game.

Within PAX Australia Gearbox presented some material on Homeworld Remastered. Randy Pitchford showed the audience an excerpt from the opening sequence, for improved reissue, showed some screenshots and said that the work on the project attended the designers of the original game.

The screenshots presented the updated game models. According to Pitchford, improvement were lighting in the game, and also added some effects including depth of field. In Gearbox hope that Homeworld Remastered will be ready for release in February 2015.
